We understand that God has created each child to be unique and each child has a different learning style. With this in mind, upon entrance to CSPS, every child is assessed to see which classroom meets their developmental needs. A portfolio is kept on every child to record his or her progress. Portfolios are available to be viewed by parents and are a great tool for parent/teacher conferences.
We also know that children do their best when they are actively learning and can freely explore their environment. We have spent many hours researching and implementing a curriculum that is strategically designed to teach with intent and purpose in every developmental domain. This allows the children to explore and discover their environment while learning new skills in problem solving, peer interaction as well as science, math, and language concepts.
