Students are taught the core subjects throughout each week in English, mathematics, history, science, Bible, and physical education. Electives are also available such as art, choir, drama, home economics, middle school Spanish, mission opportunities, yearbook (also called media arts), and others as needed. Chapel services are held once a week.
Carnegie Schools Upper School has a comprehensive athletics program with competing teams in cheer, football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, badminton, cross-country, and track and field. We are members of the Mountain Valley League and compete against other Christian schools.
Each school year is divided into two semesters. Students receive credit for courses at the end of each semester at which time an official report card is available. Each semester is made up of two quarters. At the end of each quarter, students will receive a progress report.
